Meeting new people is without a doubt the best thing about travelling. As a solo traveller you are so much more open to making new connections because basically you’ll talk to anyone; kids on the street, locals at the bus stand or fellow backpackers on the road.
I have friends who’ve asked ‘is it not hard to meet people?’ and the answer is NO. You’ll meet people everywhere. My best advice is to just turn to the person next to you and say ‘Hello!’.
So here is a selection of some wonderful faces I’ve met from all over the world.
